Brahmatal is a mysterious trek with a living example of incredible beauty. Brahmatal provides a panoramic view of the Himalayas with Mt Trishul & Nanda Ghati. The Brahmatal Trek takes one through beautiful valleys. During the winter the region is covered with the snow and offered mesmerizing view.

Distance :- 225 km drive
Pickup will be from Kathgodam railway station and then drive to Lohajung. During the drive you are going to see beautiful view of the hills, rivers and snow capped mountains. So, after reaching Lohajung, you will see the beautiful Nanda Ghunti peak. If you have forgotten to carry the winter clothes essentials, you can buy the necessary things from the local stores of Village like caps, shoes, jackets, etc.

The beginning of the trek is from Lohajung central market. The walk is through the upper region of Lohajung and then through the forest trail with few houses. The trek takes around 4 hrs and will pass through the rhododendron and oak trees. Overnight stay will be in tents.

Enjoy the delicious breakfast and start your trek to Brahmatal, which takes you through beautiful meadows and lush green forest. After trekking whole day you will get to see Nainital and Almora side of the valley. Overnight stay in the tents.

The trek begins with a 40-minute climb through the mixed forests of Oak and Rhododendrons leading towards the open meadows and base of the big climb to the top. When you reach the summit, You will see Mana, Neelkanth, Nanda Ghunti, Chaukhambha, Nilgiri, Mandir, Trishul, Maitoli, and high mountains stretching to the Panchachuli range.

After having breakfast you trek back to Lohajung from Daldam. Lohajung is 3.5 km away from Daldam.
After breakfast you will drive back to the Kathgodam with lot of memories.
